We continue with short presentations of our volunteers! We look forward to the start of the tournament and intensive socializing, so let’s get to know each other 🙂 We’re twice as happy to have Antea and Ružica as our volunteers, since the girls have participated in Jarun Cup last year as well! Check what we Antea and her teammate Ruzica told about themselves 🙂
“My name is Antea and I’m currently high school student. I used to train handball for eight years until I started to have problems with injuries and lungs. In my free time I ride a bike with my friends, I can play badminton or volleyball. I have never volunteered, and therefore I believe this is the best opportunity to try something new. It will be a great experience. I was one of the players of my club at the last Jarun Cup tourament on which we came without any knowledge of beach handball, but still we fought and won a bronze medal in juniors category. It’s been a memorable experience for the whole life.
My name is Ruzica Jovic, I’m 16 years old and I’m a student of second grade at high school. In my free time mostly I hang out with my friends, read books or follow sport news, usually handball. I’ve been training handball for four years in WHC Sloga Sveta Nedjelja. So far I have never volunteered, and I’m glad to have the opportunity to get the experience on Jarun Cup. Last year, along with my club, I participated in Jarun Cup where we won 3rd place in juniors category. It was a very nice experience that got me closer to the beach handball. This sport seems to me very interesting and fun.
