It seems guys from BHV Wasserschloss will not be the only representatives of Switzerland in Zagreb 🙂 Get ready for Beachqueens that are visiting Zagreb for the second time in a row! Tell us few words about your club.
Our team ”Beachqueens” exists since 2008 and is a part of the Swiss club BHV Wasserschloss. We have a broad range of the players’ ages in our team. Since 2008 we have won several Swiss Championships, the last time we had won was in 2016. Although winning the Swiss Championship is a big success, all our players agree that the highlight was a 4th place in the EBT Finals in Lagoa (POR) in 2012.
You’re coming to Zagreb which we are very happy about – what made you want to come back?
We enjoyed playing at the Jarun Cup last year so much that we decided to join the tournament this year again. It was fun to play against teams from other countries. Also the organization and the atmosphere last year in Zagreb were just outstanding.
What are your expectations from this season in general? Did you already set your goals or you plan to be totally spontaneous?:)
Our goal is to improve individually and as a team by playing against European teams. In addition, we would like to have more EBT points by the end of the season than we had last year.
