Dear beach handball friends,
The 17th edition of Jarun Cup, one of the biggest European beach handball tournaments, will be held from May 1 to May 4, 2025. We expect this tournament to be exceptional, with teams and officials from many European nations participating.
The numbers of the last editions (more than 70 teams and 700 participants from 19 countries, 60 volunteers who helped to organize the tournament, as well as the officials and the members of the organizing committee) have confirmed that Jarun Cup is recognized by the teams and the beach handball enthusiasts as one of the best beach handball EBT events.
Our sports complex at Jarun Lake consists of 4 beach handball courts, on which we played more than 200 matches during the tournament.
Our plan for this year is to further increase the quality of tournaments while staying in the top five of European tournaments.
Therefore, on behalf of the Jarun Cup Beach Handball Tournament Organizing Committee and Academic Beach Handball Club Zagreb, I would like to invite participants, i.e. referees, delegates, team officials, technical officials, staff, and volunteers to become part of our Summer story. Furthermore, it will be a great opportunity to open the outdoor beach handball season, before the upcoming competitions such as EBT Finals in Italy, European Beach Handball Championships in Turkey, and many other EBT tournaments.
I hope you will recognize our efforts to popularize beach handball and I hope to see you again soon so that we can open the new EBT season as best we can, having fun and showing the most beautiful sport to the spectators (on-site, via the internet stream or via TV broadcast).
